Since completing a Diploma of Landscape Design from Unitec, Sally has worked on both residential and commercial projects. The scope of this work has ranged from larger projects in collaboration with others, to smaller but no less significant projects and consultations.

Irrespective of the scale or budget, Sally likes to give a sense of uniqueness to a project - whether that uniqueness is attained by the types of materials used in construction or the plant combinations incorporated into the design.

Making spaces work in both functional and aesthetic ways is an ongoing challenge. Accommodating the needs of the client and constraints of the budget, the potential of the site and utilising the existing features is a process of finding the balance, yet continually searching for a point of difference.
